PSP announces ‘power show’ in Liaquatabad on 27th

Pak Sarzameen Party chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal has announced that his party would hold a “power show” in Liaquatabad on March 27.

He made this announcement while speaking at a programme held on Friday to mark the sixth anniversary of his return to politics from the United Arab Emirates along with Anis Kaimkhani. Mr Kamal said that the programme on March 27 would be held at Tanki Ground in Liaquatabad “to demonstrate the party’s strength”.

“The PSP within just six years of its existence stands at its strongest position and has emerged as one of the most popular political force amongst the masses from Karachi to Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan,” he claimed.

“The PSP will not let anyone mislead the youth of Pakistan. Politicians, who do politics in the name of Mohajirs are actually the enemies of Urdu-speaking community. Today, those who have avoided meeting with the families of missing persons are urging youths to take up arms.”

He criticised the parties which claimed to become representatives of Mohajir, saying that they pushed the community to the brink of destruction under the guise of rights. Those parties, he said, were portraying themselves again as saviours of the Mohajir community.

“We returned to the country at the time when crying mothers, sisters, daughters and elderly parents came to us and sought help for the recovery of their missing loved ones as MQM leaders were not ready to even own and acknowledge them as their workers,” he said. “Bringing back a missing person, reuniting parents with their lost children and reuniting children with their fathers is our greatest achievement.”
